The time has come. I will be closing my rabbitry 😌
I will still have some fun bunnies running around with the sheep and donkeys, but no longer raising them. It has been an amazing experience , I have met many sweet and wonderful people and their families. The joy and smile y’all have given me is priceless!! Thank you 🥰
It’s time for me to again downsize the farm a little more.
One of the biggest blessings that God has given us is the seasons of life. He created us and all our furry…and not so furry creatures. He knows what is good for us. I’ve been praying , asking if I am doing what God is wanting. I’m feeling it is time for me to transition into a little more Babushka , a bit more church ( I’ve stepped back a bit due to family needs) , and sprinkle that with some farm life. I’m actually a bit excited about this new season….i know my husband will miss the rabbit fur, bunnies hopping around the living room (how they got there I don’t know), and the occasional bunny dropping ðŸ¤
Fear not hubby , Lambing season is a hippity hop away.
We are down to a handful of nice holland and MiniPlush Lops. All rabbits are $20 each with a couple exceptions. A good time to add rabbits to a breeding program. Some have pedigrees and some do not. Sorry I do not have pics but I promise it is worth the trip.

I am so excited about my plush lops progress and my holland lops new colors scheme. If you are already familiar with our farm, The Lamb and Hound, you know I raise animals for health and cuteness factor. I do have pedigreed rabbits but I do not raise my animals for show. I don't issue pedigrees unless requested, there is an additional $10 charge. There is a bit of time involved and I often receive calls on rabbits that have been resold.

What is a mini plush lop.....well, my ultimate goal is to create a rabbit that is shaped like a holland lop and is wearing a velvet coat.
The Holland lop is the smallest of the Lop family. The Mini Lop is actually bigger than the holland.
Bunnies Leave at eight weeks of age with food for transitioning. We feed our bunnies Country Road URural King) Rabbit feed and timothy or orchard hay.
