Here we are!!! It's Lambing Season 2026 and looking forward to our new babydoll ram, the potato’s, lambs. I have to say 2024 was the best Season yet. Lots of flashy lambs and blessed with an abvndance of healthy twins and even triplets.,,,,dare I mention how many ewe lambs....eeeeeeek!!! It was amazing

Regarding Bottle Babies
I'm not fond of feeding bottle lambs. Babydoll lambs can be small and a newborn needs to be fed often with small amounts of milk replacer... Meaning night time feedings...uhgg ðŸ˜.... over feeding means certain death....but there are those of you who are magnificent and love it. Having said that, I sell bottle lambs at a discount. Please choose carefully , once a bottle baby leaves there is no refund and please don't ask for one, or I will cry when you do ask.

Another question often asked- Can a lamb be purchased and finished off on a bottle. That is your choice. Lamb will still be full price. I know people like to establish a bond with their lamb.
Below is the selection of Babydoll and Babyquin Lambs
Babydoll sheep are a miniature sheep. The harlequin sheep are also a miniature with excellent mothering skills and beautiful colors. I raise both, but my ultimate goal is to develop sheep shaped like the babydoll with the colors and mothering skills of the harlequin.
Most of my initial stock are registered sheep. I do not register any of my animals.
I have named them Babyquin sheep and will refer to them as that in the description.
Lambs will leave at 8 weeks of age or older. They will be fully vaccinated with CDT, Wormed with Cydection and Prohibit, Tagged with State and farm identification.

Reserving a Lamb.
This can be done by paying in full or putting a $250 deposit down to reserve. Since downsizing the farm I’m selling only lambs and kittens. I reverted to the old fashion deposit by PayPal ( thelambandhound@gmail.com ), Venmo ( @thelambandhound) & CashApp ( $thelambandhound ). Please include sku number when making deposit.

2026 Lambing Season

Season has officially started and it’s a slow drizzle of babies. One birth then waiting for days. The rams must have been taking it slow this year. Website will be updated as lambs are born. Thank you for watching our progress

The Gang
It's true....as a shepherd you know each sheep. During lambing season that bond is reinforced. As my girls get older I do get a little sad knowing they might not make it through the season. They know their names and they know the routine. So, pour yourself a cool glass of sweet tea and enjoy pics of the gang.
